Flash Gordon Continental Frontend Developer Frankfurt 12/2020 - 10/2021 Angular TypeScript RxJS Blockly My very first acquisition talk as a Consultant was a success: I landed a project agreement with Continental in Frankfurt. By the end of 2020, I joined the development team of three people through the Weber GmbH. The project's goal was to industrialize flash processes of ABS. In other words: bringing the "Flashing" of ECUs to the production line. As the team's only Frontend Developer, I was in charge to create an Angular application from scratch. The Flash Line View is meant for the production workers to monitor and steer the Flash process in realtime. The central pillars of the app are a bidirectional communication via SignalR web sockets and a reactive programming paradigm in the Frontend. Blockly was integrated and extended with custom blocks to enable workers to author flash process scripts.
Norova Analytics Hochschule Furtwangen Thesis Furtwangen 03/2020 - 08/2020 React TypeScript Node MariaDB As a part of my bachelor thesis I developed an analytics software for the research project NorOvA . The project is a collaboration between the VSB an the Hochschule Furtwangen. It aims to evaluate student's mobility patterns in rural areas to derive lasting optimisation measures for public transportation. Students were able to track their way to and from their university by means of a mobile app provided by the research team. Upon my arrival, the team faced the challenge to utilise their rapidly growing database for effective data analyses. Within the next six month, I independently worked on a Full Stack solution, tying together complex SQL queries and a web-based visualisation of geographic information. NorOvA Analytics is capable to depict routes on an interactive map, powered by Leaflet. Moreover, analysts can delimit their results spatially by drawing vectors on the map (image).
